Please be advised: As a primary qualification step, candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check for a fee of $50 US dollars, payable to Sixth Star Entertainment via check or credit card. You are welcome to receive a copy of the final report if you wish.

Dance Ability:

As part of the qualification process, you will be required to demonstrate your dancing ability in a videotaped audition, recorded in DVD or VHS format. Sixth Star requires Gents to be skilled in the following five dances: Swing, Waltz, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Quickstep, and Foxtrot.

Please rate your dance ability in the following styles:

*Remember that we are looking for pleasant, social daners. We want the ladies on the cruise to be comfortable and well-led, not intimidated.
0 = no knowledge of this dance
1 = some familiarity; series of lessons needed
2 = satisfactory and would benefit from formal lessons
3 = ability to demonstrate 5 to 7 patterns
4 = more than 7 dance patterns
5 = exceptional (silver or gold level)
